Lancer09 Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Wowza. Looks like you have had a good couple days. No kidding. Those two fish may weigh more than all of my trout caught in my life ever.. combined.
Greasy B Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Fantastic fish. His father touches the Claw in spite of Kevin's warnings and breaks two legs just as a thunderstorm tears the house apart. Kevin runs away with the Claw. He becomes captain of the Greasy Bastard, a small ship carrying rubber goods between England and Burma. Michael Palin, Terry Jones, 1974
ColdWaterFshr Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Helluva nice fish. Did you let that thing have a puff on your cigar before you released it? Whadje catcher on? Corn?
Smalliebigs Posted January 29, 2015 Posted January 29, 2015 Sweet Brown Joe.....you have a funny look on your face and you are holding it kinda funny though. I wish I was there
joeD Posted January 29, 2015 Author Posted January 29, 2015 Yep. And luck. My two friends could have easily been in the picture, as we throw the same things in the same area. However, make no mistake I (we) work very hard to earn our success. We cast and cast and cast. And we always are learning. Been going down there for 15 years now. I may have caught on a lure that I like, but that's not the real reason that fish was caught. Dedication, persistence, adaptability, desire, and, maybe most important, we never, ever give up. Me (to my wife, proud papa): "Check this picture out A... Now that's what we go down to the White for!" Her: "Gross! Why do you always have to be smoking a cigar in your pictures? You shouldn't be smoking anyway." Well, that takes care of that. Back to husband/father Joe. Oy.
