grizwilson Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 I have done fly tying demos in the past for them. It is a very good show in my opinion. Take some $$$ last year I bought $100 worth of turkey calls from a local maker, 2 rods, a bunch of tackle..... not many boats, but lots of new and used outdoor gear. They had some good seminars on crappie fishing, mushroom hunting, etc. Then as Chief mentions, I dropped down to the Grad School for a burger mmmmm! g “If a cluttered desk is a sign, of a cluttered mind, of what then, is an empty desk a sign?”- Albert Einstein

Johnsfolly Posted February 1, 2015 Posted February 1, 2015 We'll be visiting my daughter at UCM in Warrensburg that weekend. Won't get down there this year. I do go to the Missouri Deer Classic in Columbia every year. I just found out that not only have they moved the venue from Columbia to St. Louis. It will now be in July/Aug instead of March. Will still try to get out there for that event.

Sounds like fun. Maybe the weather won't look like this when it is on. Nasty up here today. I took a Home Ec class in High School. We had to find a recipe, then took the bus to the store, bought the ingredients and came back to prepare it. Now that sentence there took about a week. To this day I still don't know why, but I chose to make Cashew Chicken. I had never eaten Chinese in my life and swore I wouldn't. And to this day, that was the BEST Cashew Chicken I ever had! I wish I had that recpie today!!! Terrierman Posted February 2, 2015 Posted February 2, 2015 If it's big enough to use the Expo Center more than likely you will be able to find a thing or two that will be worth having. I'll swing by for a look, that's for sure. But for me it's a 20 minute drive, not two hours.
