abkeenan Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 I have the flyer in my hand as I type. It says IN STORE ONLY on the bottom of the page for the $50 PQ sale. It also does NOT say quantities limited anywhere on that page. Not sure what that means but typically on sale or close out items it does say "quantities limited or limited of XX per customer". Probably should call before anyone makes a long drive to a BPS store.
Seth Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 As of now, St. Charles still had a bunch of the Pro Qualifiers according to the guy at the reel department. I'd leave work and go now, but I promised a buddy I would wait for him to get off work to run down so he could tag along. Hopefully that doesn't bite me in the butt.
Members carpelpummel Posted February 6, 2015 Members Posted February 6, 2015 I was up there about 12:30 today and was lots of the PQs. They were in a display type bin that was all but full in between the reel counter and the fly shop, looked like grat ratios were all mixed in...KVD was walking around too setting up I guess Quillback 1
abkeenan Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 A little off topic but I wonder if next years new model/design PQ will still be at the 99.99 price point or with the overwhelming success BPS has had with them if they bump up the price on them say $10 or $20 bucks. I know they just redid their Crankin' Stick for 2015 (which the previous model used to sell for $79.99) and now the new model is $99.99 and the microguide model is $119.99. I felt both models and one felt good in the hand and the other no as much. I believe the microguide Crankin' Stick is the one that felt really good.

I was there this morning, looked like they had plenty. I wouldn't worry about missing out on them, but you never know I guess. I'm sure Karma will treat you well for waiting on your fishing buddy. Their rods however looked to be a little picked over on some of the St. Croix, Shimano, Falcon, etc.

I would venture to say MOST of the time they don't have the length or model I am looking for in a rod. Only thing they are pretty much guaranteed to have in stock in all sizes and actions are their house BPS model rods.
dtrs5kprs Posted February 6, 2015 Posted February 6, 2015 Just wish ours in Olathe had 3 big AGM batteries on hand. Looks like Cabelas will win this round. Champ188 1
