Really, we don't even need one JoeD. Just doesn't add anything to the conversation. As for pressure cooker pork -- I get it. It wasn't supposed to replace smoked pork. Open your eyes you BBQ snobs. It's got cabbage in it. Not even in the same category. Try it befofore you write it off. Turns out I've had them before in Omaha at The Runza Hut. Liked them. Can see doing it on a bun and making it easier. ness 1

I don't know. As an ardent follower of the smoke, I have to side with Joe on this. Though I don't do so with clean hands. I have used a crockpot and store bought sauce before. And I'm not proud of that! Chief Grey Bear Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 I've had Maid Rite too. When working for the RR and running from KC to Davenport, there was a MR across the parking lot of the Motel. The old heads went on and on how good they were. I think I may have eaten two. Just couldn't find much love for them. Not bad, just don't get the giggles thinking about them messy bastards! Chief Buddy, I filleted the sides off the dove and put the breast pieces in a grill basket. Then of course it went on a charcoal grill with some peach wood chunks. A flip now and again until done. Brought in and the Mrs. Diced it up. rps Posted September 16, 2016 Posted September 16, 2016 For my birthday, my lovely bride ordered mussels and soft shell crab. Ridiculously expensive shipping but she insisted. Tonight we will enjoy the mussels and tomorrow we will fry up the soft shell crab. For tonight I am preparing the mussels in a coconut milk broth with curry. She made a French loaf of bread to dip in the sauce We have a salad as well. My how good life in the Ozarks can be. Chief Grey Bear, BilletHead, Gavin and 1 other 4
