You know repeats are not a problem, I don't mind looking at your dishes again and again. You all do ours.

Wood duck grilled over charcoal and apple tree wood. Had one die but it is still working. Sweet corn we put up and giant baked potato cooked on the trager pellet grill. Pat has been making Blue cheese dressing from scratch. Besides the butter my potato had that dressing. OH my goodness. IMG_20250930_161759471.jpg

I put ranch dressing and a sprinkle of Cavenders on my baked potato . Mighty tasty.

Cavenders is made in Harrison, Arkansas. Some say it is the only thing coming from Harrison that is worth anything. Just what I heard.

We saw their facility a couple years ago when oldest granddaughter was playing in a fastpitch softball tournament in Branson. They had one day that they played in Harrison. That stuff is good on cottage cheese and tomatoes too!

Try it as your rub on smoked pork butt or brisket.

Saw a recent video of Alton Brown baking potatoes. I am not a huge baked potato fan. But I tried his easy method last night. Best dang baked potato I've ever had. Figured I'd share.

-Coat the tater in neutral oil and salt it

-Place directly on your oven rack, middle of the oven, at 375-degrees for 45 min.

-Take out, coat with a little more oil and salt, and up the oven to 400-degrees. Bake for 10-15 more minutes

-Take out and stab it with a fork in the middle. Use your hands to push it open. Add butter, cheese, sour cream, chives (no knife to cut in half)

Fluffy, crispy skin, and just beautiful. Will be doing that again tonight!

I may have to get some Cavenders.  I know we had some in the pantry but I think it was pretty old and got pitched a while back.
