   Oh MoPanfisher,

This is the second time you have made subtle accusations on the flavor of goose. Both times on posts of mine.  I am not sure if you had some cooked not so well or if you have never had a well made dish of waterfowl. Closest thing I can think of is you had some over cooked and then it tastes like tough liver. I do see you eat that internal organ.  I assure you since you did not taste this it wasn't seasoned until you could not taste the flavor of the bird. Not beaten into submission either. No different than tenderized cube or round steak. pork tenderloin or flattened chicken. I am beginning to think you may be related to someone that posts late night into the wee hours of the morning here. :) . Don't knock it until you try it.

BilletHead who eats what he he takes or forages himself, cleans himself and cooks himself. Bypasses the meat section of the grocery store unless he gets a steak once every couple of months. Maybe a chicken every couple of months? Other than the staple of bacon there is not much processed meat in our house.

If you have to cover the flavor you might as well eat peas and spinach :) Smoked peas and smoked spinach at that.

For the record, I love all waterfowl. Dang delicious!

Well except Coots. Nasty, foul bird!

I can see it now I bet Ness puts ketchup in his mashed taters and probably on scrambled or fried eggs :) .

No, never ketchup on eggs or mashtaters. And I love ketchup. I've got a niece that puts ketchup on mashed potatoes and turkey. It's no fun looking at her thanksgiving plate. Blech. Now I'll put hot sauce or a good 'taco' sauce on eggs.

As I was alone, like self fellating, taking an imbibing selfie is easier said then done.

But, not to be denied, rps continues to ignore everything, and give us his dinner menu, And ingredients. And cooking method!  Whew! Imagine the deliciousness of his leftovers!

(OOPS! SORRY!  FORGOT ABOUT INTRUDING AND TROLLING!! )

BilletHead, I will plead guilty to your accusations, most of my waterfowl culinary experience has not been good.  With the exception of some duck breaats that were wrapped in bacon and fast grilled.  All the rest have been well in a word bad.  I know many folks like goose and duck I just haven't had the expwrience of liking the meat yet.  Guess that's why I don't hunt them.  But you made gravy so that goes a long way toward making me think it might be good, who would make gravy with something that ain't fit to eat.  Says the liver gravy guy.:o
