Sadie says it sounds pretty cushy at the Ness doggie bed and breakfast. She says also it might be too much and she would make it a habit.

I will warn Pat about Max :) although surprises can be pretty funny,

How many of you know about gochujang? I knew nothing until the wife and I read about it in a Zingerman's catalogue. We ordered some. Tonight I am using the sesame version. Think fermented red chili sesame paste with a strong peanut butter taste. I smeared a pork loin roast with that and then wrapped it in bacon for roasting.  I will also roast cauliflower and serve a salad.

I looked it up, yep it's in one of the dishes I get from the Korean restaurant in Chinatown in STL. I love it. I don't tell my wife but I prefer good Korean to Chinese any day.

No pics tonight because I didn't want to pause.  Wife called and asked if I would be home for supper, said yes.  Got home and saw a big bowl of fresh, tender little turnip greens.  Of couse the big bowl cooked down to barely enough for me but oh my were they tender and mild.  Could almost feel the healthy flooding into my system.

The schedule my wife and I have had to keep the last several days leave us in desperate need of vegetables and real food. I am envious.

More turnip greens on the menu tonight.  3 slices of good bacon rough chopped, some green onions I found in the fridge, a few capers because I like the flavor it adds.  Sautee it up in a big sauce pan, then just befor serving add some water and vinegar and steam it basically like wilted lettuce.  Accompanying it will be some pan seared chicken tenders, and rice.  Tenders are seasoned with some.ozarks fried chicken seasoning I found in the spice cabinet, and a bag of microwave ready roasted chicken flavored rice.  Dessert is a bowl of apples picked up in the orchard and cooked down with cinnamon redhots.  Man it smells good already.

Breading news and a late addition.  Went out to feed the yard dog and waled past a small sad.cherry tomato plant with several small marble sized maters.  Picked a handful and sanitized them by rubbing them on my shirt on the way back to the house and into the mix for the turnip greens they went, why not.
