The Mrs had lobster risotto. That plate looked a lot like mine. Secret chef's recipes. I could show you the step by step photos but would have to kill you ☺! Too tired to head back to MO over that so I'll skip posting those photos.

We ate a pretty fancy dinner out last weekend and gf had lobster risotto as a side. Remember me saying we always share? Well I tasted that and... oh, man! .....Then a little devil appeared on my shoulder and said, ‘Maybe she won’t like it if you say you think it sucks.’ I swatted him away, told her I agreed it was delicious, and hoped for the best. She couldn’t finish...her salmon. But the risotto was gone. Dang it.

Wish I could figure out what was going on in there. Extra creamy, like it had some mild cheese in there, but it wasn’t cheesy. Maybe cream cheese. Anyhoo, it was really tasty and has me thinking.

Tonight's Blue Apron was fun. Pita bread slathered with a tahini/yogurt/garlic/olive oil/vinegar sauce, littered with lettuce shreds, and topped with seared za'atar beef. Salad on the side. Really decent!

Maybe so ... more likely than cream cheese now that I think about it. Wasn’t sweet or sour.

I had some of the risotto. It was delicious and the lobster was cooked perfectly. The risotto had a bit of cheese, possibly parmesan, but the majority of flavor came from what we assumed was good lobster stock.

Steak, cooked properly, like a man, in a screaming-hot cast iron skillet and finished in a 500 degree oven. With my baby boy.
