Dealing with too much carp at work😜!

Biggest load of carp I have ever heard of. Hang in there at work. Remember "Carp Happens"

Today we're going in a little different direction. I am normally one to follow the time honored standards of regular smoked or bbq chicken.
But my beautiful daughter Sierra was in the mood for some Hawaiian style chicken.
What my daughter wants my daughter gets!
Usually. Sometimes. Most of the time. Who am I kidding!
So I got out of my box and done some research and said here we go. I found a recipe that I thought sounded intriguing marinated the chicken breast overnight and grilled them today.
I'm thinking I need to step out of my box more often!

Nice photo!

I’d keep an eye on that dude if I was you. Something about that smirk has my dad radar going off. 😄

Would like to hear about the marinade on the chicken. Need to mix it up a little here too.

I started a few different peppers this year.... Just for the long game.

Doing scotch bonnets for end result real Jamaican jerk seasoning. Doing extra jalapenos to ripen, smoke, and can in adobo sauce, and poblanos to ripen and dry for anchos.

And after you talked so much about them, doing a ton of cubanelles mostly for Chile rellenos!

My wife had been gone for almost a week, so I treated her to a Mother's Day treat.  I left and went fishing.  Managed some crappie and a nice channel cat.  So tonight they got prepped and fried a golden brown, whike my wife fired up the cast iron skillet for a pile of taters and onions, and I added a wilted salad with spinach and lettuce from the cold frame.  Had to make a quick run to town for some oil and found in the refrigerated section some stuff called Busch Beer, it was ice cold and I could hear it calling my name from across the store.  Now I am too full to go put fishing stuff away and till the garden son i can finally plant stuff.

Baked cod with Paul Prudhomme’s blacken seasoning. Little green gems called peas, and a spinach salad with ho’made balsamic and olive oil vinaigrette. I’m good to the finich when I eats me spinach.
