What is a person to think. I just replaced a Johnney Morris signature rod and reel I lost last year and on handle it said signedd by Johnney Morris made in China.

Not only that I bought over $140 werth of plugs and a lowrance fishfinder. It al was about $700..I desided to check and every thing I purchaced was made in foreign countries. Even the lowrance and I thought they were made in OK.

How are we to make jobs for our middle ckass with every think we buy made overseas.

Remember when walmart said everthing they sold was made in the USA, no mote.

When did Walmart ever say that? I know I bought a camera in one of their stores in 1986 and I don't think anything had changed since then.

It's impossible for any business to be successful selling only American made. In a country that demands low prices and huge profits it will never happen.

i know exactly where you can buy jigs, spinner baits, and bladed jigs that are made in the USA. just launched a series with a Trokar hook, and that means even the components are 100% USA produced.

you are exactly right. when are manufactures going to figure out, that when there are no jobs here and not anyone working, who is going to have money to buy there cheap products?????

our government is also a problem with manufactures going overseas. my small company got audited by the irs. the new federal excise tax laws passed to fund obamacare say that 10% excise tax is to be paid on what we are selling the product for. that is taxing labor, and when we raise to accomodate the tax, which is passed onto the consumer, they get 10% of what we raised the price. the irs guy admitted that many small companies are shutting their doors, or figure out how to take manufacturing out of the country.

everyone needs to be rgith down our congress reps and senators throats.

I was talking to an older fellow in line at Walmart, and he mentioned they used to have a sign in every store that everything was made in America. I don't remember that though.

I guess I can't fault a business for making a business decision. Fact is, there are about a billion people in China, and those that work will do it for a fraction of what we get over here. Many live in true poverty, something we don't stand for over here. Lots of pieces to this whole equation, but it's too political, so I'll be moseying along. Adios.
