The classic kicks off this weekend in Greenville, SC. Looks like takeoff temps Friday morning will be in the single digits (7F). Forecast has temps gradually getting warmer each day, but chance of rain/snow Saturday and rain Sunday. Can't wait to see what that ramp looks like Friday morning after 50+ rigs launch from it.

Who is your favorite to take home the title this weekend?

I am going with Cliff Pace. He won the Classic on Grand when it was cold. Plus he was off all last year after his hunting injury. He's gotta be hungry and ready to get back at it.

Depending on where the water temp is, or was, it could be really good. I'm glad they have some weather to deal with. I don't have a pick but I'll enjoy seeing the results.

Almost identical conditions to Table Rock. Some guessing the surface temps to be 41 to 43. Whom ever finds a concentration of fish like the last time they were there. Winner is going to find them ganged up and hope he can get them all 3 days.

Going to be just miserable.

I'm rooting like a starving aardvark for Mark Davis and Mike McClelland and I think both of them have solid chances. But they'll have to deal with some tough competition, including Hackney, Christie, Martens, Casey Ashley and Cliff Pace.
