Members Lewisstull Posted February 28, 2015 Members Posted February 28, 2015 Finally got my mold in and made some heads for the Ned rig. Just had to try them out yesterday. Man it was cold out there. Only fished for a little bit but was able to pull 2 of the bottom in that short time. Nothing of any size. Both right under keeper size, but hey I'm just glad that my jig heads seem to work. Main lake chunk rock point in 15ft of water.

dtrs5kprs Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Glad they worked for you. Did you get anything figured out on your hooks?
Members Lewisstull Posted February 28, 2015 Author Members Posted February 28, 2015 Ha I just went with the ones you told me to get and they worked great. Thanks a ton elite203 1
Members trytofish Posted February 28, 2015 Members Posted February 28, 2015 Did you have to modify a mold? I been looking for the right mold with no success. Took a bullet head mold and filled in the bait holder with JB Weld. Worked ok but not the best. Still tweeking on it. It would be nice just to find the correct mold. Real novice at pouring so be gentle.
Travis Swift Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 What are you using for the wire guard? Size etc
Fish24/7 Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 that's a good jig, nothing like catching a fish on a lure "you" made!
Bill Babler Posted February 28, 2015 Posted February 28, 2015 Very nice looking head. Lewisstull 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
