Went fishing today

Well I was down here and the boat was on a lift so I went out for few hours in the dam area this evening. Crazy I know. Caught 2 over 5 lbs and 2 other football kentuckys. All on Stickbait and pretty shallow. It was brutal out there but the fishing was good and scenery was beautiful. Got one of the bigger fish on the go pro but only took a pic of one kenticky. Donna and I woulda been right there with ya if we could've navigated the roads/ramp. Great day. They always bite when it's snowing. Water temp is encouraging, too. Warmer than I would have guessed.

Absolutely. The roads are the worst part. Have had some good times fishing in the snow, up the James especially.

Glad you did not end up with a stifled trip Alex. Those are hard to handle.
