Macsimus
Fished yesterday from the crack of 9:40 until 4:00. This was my third time out this year and I finally caught a few so I thought I'd post a little info. Hopefully my info will improve in the near future. I launched at Eagle Rock and fished downstream. Caught 3 spots with 1 barely a keeper. The smallest one came on a 1/16oz Ned w/PBJ Zero and it was in 20-22'. The two larger fish came on a #12 Deep Down Husky Jerk silver (black back). All of the fish were relating to pole timber and 45 degree banks. All were inside creeks within the first 1/4 of the creek and on the channel side of the creek. Water temps were 40-42. fishingaddiction
Thanks for the report on the upper end. Based on your information and my fishing this past weekend some fish are slowly moving into pre-spawn locations. It seems to me the K's are really turning on. Born to Fish. Forced to Work. Quillback
Yes interesting to hear some are moving into the coves. Wish the water would start warming up.

Best be looking at staging areas adjacent to spawning banks right now. fishingaddiction and Sac River Jim

And a little shallower than you might think. Maybe 5'-15' on transitions and mixed rock. Sac River Jim and fishingaddiction

Sore Thumbs
Almost time to try wiggle wart on those small cuts and transitions in the river. Champ188, Sac River Jim and OldMillRoad
