Kee sims Posted April 23, 2015 Author Posted April 23, 2015 How long do you guys wait before taking a new lure on water? I'm ready throw some of these baits but don't want to get them wet to early.
Guest Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 How long do you guys wait before taking a new lure on water? I'm ready throw some of these baits but don't want to get them wet to early. 48hrs before I put the hooks on them
Flysmallie Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 It's going to depend on the topcoat you are using. I'm good with overnight on my stuff but I can push it to a couple of hours if I need to. (I haven't needed to in a long time)
Flysmallie Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 And I've been using devcon 2 ton epoxy Let it sit overnight and you are good to go.
5bites Posted April 23, 2015 Posted April 23, 2015 I'd go by the 48hr rule to be sure it's hard. Dry to the touch and cured are two different things. You are off to a great start.
Kee sims Posted April 24, 2015 Author Posted April 24, 2015 Thank you! I've enjoyed the few I've done so far. I've got a few stencils on order which will be quite handy.
Kee sims Posted April 30, 2015 Author Posted April 30, 2015 Couple of baits from tonight. Flysmallie, Fly_Guy and Fish24/7 3
Fish24/7 Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 some recent work spook and red fin minnow any other Airheads been spraying lately? Kee sims 1
