5bites Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 I should have mentioned I do the pupils by dipping a round object in the paint and touching it to the lure. I don't use a stencil.
Lvn2Fish Posted July 9, 2015 Posted July 9, 2015 Seems like I figured a little something out. The stencil needs a bit more sanding but I think it looks kinda close. The second pic shows the stencils I made earlier. Fish24/7 and 5bites 2

Guest Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 I've got a chameleon Arkansas shiner pattern that looks like an old curado on the back. It's auto air gem ruby, $35 for 4oz
Guest Posted July 10, 2015 Posted July 10, 2015 24/7 I'm the stencil master, you need variety Lately, I've been using stencil sheets from hobby lobby on the air brush isle. My old iPhone case makes a good blank stencil For the eyes, I'm using architecture stencils & mapping symbols. There's one with circles of all sizes. I use it for the eyes by using tape to cover all the holes I don't need & leaving 2 sizes open.
