5bites Posted July 29, 2015 Posted July 29, 2015 Awesome! I'm pretty sure I saw my airbrush moving out the other day.
Fish24/7 Posted July 30, 2015 Posted July 30, 2015 I've been trying to paint some lately. 105 in the shop with fans running was about too much for me. the humidity was awful, paint wasn't spraying or drying properly it's hard to paint on the details with sweat dripping from your nose, lol glad that humidity has finally moved on,
Kee sims Posted August 11, 2015 Author Posted August 11, 2015 Anyone air brush jig heads? If so can I use the same createx paints and epoxy?
5bites Posted August 11, 2015 Posted August 11, 2015 No reason why you couldn't. I lose jigs at such a rapid rate this would be a very counter productive endeavor for me to try. Kee sims 1
Fish24/7 Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 Anyone air brush jig heads? If so can I use the same createx paints and epoxy? not jig heads, but I 've done spinnerbait heads with no problems using the same
MOsmallies Posted August 12, 2015 Posted August 12, 2015 I've always liked the way the Dirty Jigs jigheads. It looks like they airbrush their jigheads to get the accent color effect. It probably doesn't matter to the fish but it's one more detail that I think looks cool and would give me a little more confidence... http://www.tacklewarehouse.com/Dirty_Jigs_Tour_Level_Finesse_Football_Jig/descpage-DJTLFFJ.html#multiview
jolicious Posted August 24, 2015 Posted August 24, 2015 Somewhere in this thread I mentioned the Spaztix paints. I got the air brush out over the weekend, and thought I'd share the best I could. I can never really grasp the color shift / holo-effect in pictures (the sun really brings out the shine); so I just take a pic without / with a forced camera flash: No Flash: Flash No Flash Flash Pepe, Fish24/7, 5bites and 1 other 4
Fish24/7 Posted August 25, 2015 Posted August 25, 2015 very cool! i painted some spooks lately, experimenting with transparency and iridescent paints
