rps Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 While out today I came upon this demolished boat, up on a lift as if it were perfectly fine. I just hope no one was injured while reshaping the thing. Old plug and James Coonrod 2
dtrs5kprs Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Interesting part is that they put it back on the lift like it was good to go.
5bites Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Surely something hit it instead of the other way around. Either way that looks like a scary deal.
Fish24/7 Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 looks like something that belongs in FatCatNewtons yard J-Doc and Champ188 2
J-Doc Posted March 23, 2015 Posted March 23, 2015 Somebody limped that poor thing back to the dock, put it on the lift, then went inside and changed their drawers! :-) I guess they felt insurance or something was going to settle out or maybe they have to find a trailer to take it somewhere. I'd probably take it right back to the lift until I figured things out too. As Roscoe P Coultrain used to say.... "Cleatus!! You done scuffed up my vehicle! And poor Flash lost her nummy num-nums!" Need marine repair? Send our own forum friend "fishinwrench" a message. He will treat you like family!!! I owe fishinwrench a lot of thanks. He has been a great mechanic with lots of patience!
rps Posted March 23, 2015 Author Posted March 23, 2015 I wish you could have been there to see my face when I finally figured out why the boat looked so strange. Then I had to try and figure out why it was on the lift with the motor still on and the gear still in. Were they going back out later? Finally, I decided I neeed to share this with all of you.

That is where my mind went with it too. Looked like they went out, wrecked it, and came in for lunch before the afternoon bite.
gitnby Posted March 24, 2015 Posted March 24, 2015 Judging by the water line and the corrosion, I don't think that boat has lived much of it's life on that lift, or any lift? I think that's the boat that the guy just caught the 140 lb paddlefish from. Maybe the paddlefish rammed the side trying to knock the boat over?
