Fished yesterday afternoon in Big Creek. Tied on the new Rock Crawler in Mud Bug color and in the first 3 casts had a 16 inch smallmouth and 15 inch Kentucky! After a start like that, I had a hard time putting it down. We fished from 12:30 to 4 and had 11 keepers out of 28 or 29 fish. Partner was throwing a DT10 and had big fish of the day at 4.6. Biggest Rock Crawler fish was 3.7. Caught all of our fish in muddy/stained water on points and first 1/3 of bank going into the coves in Big Creek. Getting ready to go back out for the day. Will report later on how it goes. Will post pics Monday when I get back to a computer.

Good to hear the crankbait bite is good. When you say stained/muddy water, how far can you see your bait under the water? Is the water clearer up river from Big Creek or down river? Thanks for the report, hope you get them again today.

Today's results were not as good with the Rock Crawler.... I only had 3 fish today with 1 keeper. Thanks Table Rock for the reality flash!! Another pair of guys that are fishing with us did good on a Wiggle Wart in Big Creek and Campbell point. They took big fish today with a 4.03. They had 24 fish with 12 being keepers. 2AD6DE06-EC6A-4A51-AA91-29EE069DD224.jpg
