I love Young Frankenstein. I have it on Beta, VHS, DVD, and Blue Ray. I'm taking my 12 year old daughter to see it on the big screen on the 30th. I just told her we were going to see a movie about Frankenstein with the original Willy Wonka. She has no idea what she is in for. :)

I can't believe that I missed Ness' namesake movie searching for that most holy of Grrrails!!  Probably the most quoted movie in our household.

A most quotable list would be fun too....

Holy Grail 'I didn't vote for you!'

Spinal Tap 'But these go to 11'

Animal House 'Was it over when the Germans bombed Pearl Harbor?'

Vacation 'Eddie says I can quit one of my night jobs when the baby comes'

Christmas Vacation 'Don't you fall in love with it Clark. I'm taking it with me when I leave next month'

Blazing Saddles 'You in show business Tex? Then get your fwiggin feet off the stage'

Young Frankenstein 'I was going to make espresso'

Trading Places 'Is there a problem, officers?'

Laugh if you will, but the genre has endured ever since talkies. Anyone else willing to admit they know the words?

Yes,

Pretty much all of them

"No, Mr. Bond I expect you to die." - Goldfinger

"I'm glad you said that Annie, because what we got going here ain't exactly love." - Machine gun Vertibo

"It's just a model." - King Author's Porter

"Why don't we go into the bedroom and I'll fill you in." - Fletch

"And this positively infantile preoccupation with bosoms. In all my time in this wretched, godforsaken country, the one thing that has appalled me most of all is this preposterous preoccupation with bosoms." - J. Algernon Hawthorne

Ok, Witness and Seabiscuit. Love both of those.

'It's not our way...'

'Its MY way!'

Got no Seabiscuit quote, but it's a great story and a very well done movie. Jeff Bridges and Chris Cooper (KC native) are a couple sure things in my book.

October Sky is a goodun with Cooper. My baby boys, who turned twenty-freakin-one today, loved that movie.

Oh dang. Places in the Heart was a great movie. I need to queue that one up. It's been a while.
