ColdWaterFshr Posted October 21, 2021 Posted October 21, 2021 Of course, all most of the Dirty Harry movies were good. The Bridges of Madison County. That was pure torture. All of these. And I agree on Bridges. Escape from Alcatraz was pretty good.

bfishn Posted February 26, 2022 Posted February 26, 2022 Previously noted at least 6 times by others, Dr. Strangelove. Free on Cox Contour right now. Anyone that remembers "duck & cover" should (re)watch it for a perspective refresh right now. It's a perspective of the adults that were in charge when we were kids, wackos and all. And a reminder that there have always been wackos. Aside from the hokey B52 flight shots, the majority of it was spot-on procedure and hardware at the time. Yeah, we had B52s in striking range of the USSR 24/7/365 for quite some time. Added; Not to mention, co-written by Stanley Kubrick and stars Peter Sellers (in 3 roles), George C. Scott, Sterling Hayden, and Slim Pickens. Johnsfolly 1 I can't dance like I used to.
