Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 28, 2015 Root Admin Posted March 28, 2015 What's the ideal "bass" boat for fishing 3 people? Prefer aluminum over fiberglass. Yes this is for my rental fleet... I have G-3's right now. Eagle 170
Ham Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Phil, look at a Center console boat with a front and rear elevated deck. I would think that G3 or War Eagle offer that. I would want 18 foot. a 20 foot Supreme fishes three like nobody's business, but you asked about Al++. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
rps Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 I had an Express modified V center console that was great, except for the pounding I took on windy days. On Taneycomo you don't have that worry. G3 makes one similar. Ignore the jack plate and tunnel hull options and look at this video.
rps Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Ham posted moments before I did. How odd we come to the same conclusion.
Ham Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 It's what I would buy if I was looking for an aluminum boat. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Sac River Jim Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 triton has a few different options including a center console model. http://www.tritonboats.com/boat/423.aspx
dtrs5kprs Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 Would be hard to beat a tiller steer 16' multi species type too. Nice and open, easy to troll or drift.
fishinwrench Posted March 28, 2015 Posted March 28, 2015 18-20' fishing pontoon with a 40-60hp outboard and a troller..... Include a long handled net. rps 1
Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted March 29, 2015 Author Root Admin Posted March 29, 2015 18-20' fishing pontoon with a 40-60hp outboard and a troller..... Include a long handled net. We have 8 pontoons... 13 river jons. I have 2 G-3's I'm wanting to change out. Pontoons are big renters... but I don't room for more! Thanks
