There are some very good lakes in KS, both for "eating" fish, and for bass. Some excellent smallmouth lakes. Just be sure to bring your high-sided walleye boat and your drift sock. The wind is always blowing, and the lakes are not nestled in mountains.

Judging from the flashing red light reflecting off that crappie I would guess GoPro. Probably wrong though.

Didn't catch which lake that was. Might have been El Dorado, down by Wichita. That was where he shot the plastic structure video.

Melvern would be the place to go for brownies. Far enough away to make a one day run tricky. That pretty much goes for most of KS.
