Ham Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 I've caught a few fish on a Redfin and more than a few on other wake baits. I didn't think I was burning it, but I'd like to retrieve it faster than a Ned or a Suspending jerk bait. I need a "pro" to go with me and slow me the proper way to work a Redfin I suppose. Ham Posted April 29, 2015 Posted April 29, 2015 My Jackall Mikey worked great straight out the package, but DID NOT get eaten. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Sore Thumbs Posted April 30, 2015 Posted April 30, 2015 If anyone has a Buckeye lures wakebaits I would be interested in buying some.
Pepe Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I bought a few of the Buckeye baits as they were being discontinued and have had good luck with them. My favorite is pretty chewed up. I only have one spare now. Red fins are a PIA to me. One works and 3 don't. I hope to try some custom baits this summer that I got in a tackle swap. I live for topwater action!
Quillback Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 In my opinion the BX Wakes easier than the Redfin. It's also easier to cast. But, it doesn't have that unique snakey action that a jointed Redfin has. I'd like to see the BX come out in a jointed version.
Guest Posted May 2, 2015 Posted May 2, 2015 I wasn't too happy with the super man. Instead of waking it knuckle balled on the surface. Either, I don't know what I'm doing (possibly) or Brain built me a lemon. Gonna call & find out why its not working side to side.
Sore Thumbs Posted May 4, 2015 Posted May 4, 2015 Yeah I was hoping to get a few before the word got out of them being discontinued?
