Wow !!!! A guy just tries to pass on some food for thought and it is like a bomb goes off. I understand completely why we have some of the problems in the world that exist. Chief Grey Bear..... I have to say that you are probably a very normal person. Thanks for the mature and respectful approach you bring to this site.

To all readers: lets make a deal.... when someone sends something to the site you disagree with......please send your comments without malice towards others. Unless of course it involves terrorism.... then call the authorities so they can trace it down.

Man oh man, all this from a viewpoint on a fishing lure?

I am in disbelief.

Straw Hat, maybe you are in the right ballpark when you say we should just stay home from fishing. Maybe the highest concentration of dangerous people are anglers. Come to think of it I did get hit in the back of the head one time with a crankbait by a buddy. Maybe he was a kook and he had it planned.....hmmmmmm !

I am really sorry I sent my concerns for this bait to this site. Hope we can all get back to normal.....

Sheesh !!!,

Nobody has ever once stated don't fish it. EVER!

Why do you boys get your panties all in a wad when they don't buy into your hype? I have never seen grown men get so dam pissy over something as trivial as this.

You get a lot of the credit for it. Being all pissy about not liking all the threads about it and all. Starting a few on your own IIRC. Its no thing to me, but apparently you and a few others always have something negative to say about that bait.

Have I made a comment about having a dozen threads a week on it?

Guilty.

Have I started "a few" threads on it? One. Guilty? I guess.

Negative press from me? Prove it.

I have never said that it is not an effective bait. In fact nobody has said that it is not an effective bait. I have always said it is a great bait and catches lots of fish. Is it better than any other soft plastic bait out there? Well, that's debatable. Is it new to the fishing world? Not by a long shot.

I'm just not sure why it's such a big deal to a lot of people. There is no debate that it works great and helps a lot of people who otherwise would probably be totally frustrated get some hookups. It's not new, don't know anybody who said it is, other than the elaztech part anyway. We talked about that last year on the Finley. It's weird that it draws haters and supporters out of the woodwork. And while we are at it, when are we going to go fishing again? Lovey is going to be out of the country next week and I can go if the weather and water is right. Weekday preferred.

I don't think it is a big deal to most. It's the same handful of people constantly pushing it. Or at least that is how it appears to those that don't think it is a big deal.

I don't think anybody hates it. I think it's the appearance of being shoved down people's throats. I only say that for lack of a better term. But holy cow, don't come on here not give it the absolute highest praise ever to be bestowed upon any bait devised by man or you will get a shellacking from Ned Heads.

I have never seen a single bait draw such animosity from the astute deciples against the casual, nonchalant take it or leave it.

I am more than ready to hit the water again?

You have a spot you want to hit?

Big Suge sure has a nice flow right now. Lots of nest right now but I'm sure we can find couple not guarding.

I still have that peach shine in the freezer waiting on you.

Well you know it has been way too long since I have been on Sugar Creek. Let's keep an eye on the weather and calendar and make it happen.

Well,

Now that everyone is in a happier mood you won't believe what I found on the internet today. This guy named Ned talks about the Beetle Spin and how it was the fore runner to the ....ta da..... Ned Rig !!! I am not even kidding. Type in Ned Rig on Google and see his videos. I believe he said a guy named Chuck Wood invented the Beetle Spin and then it was morphed into the Ned Rig we have today. Talk about hitting the nail on the head and having no idea of this video !!!! Right now I am feeling kind of psychic !!! Of course if I really was I would know when to pull the Ned Rig away from small fish and keep all fish from swallowing it !!!!!
