moguy1973 Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 That looks perfect. Way jealous here. -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
fishinwrench Posted May 17, 2015 Posted May 17, 2015 Fished here the other day...Not another person all day... The lack of fish pics might explain why.
dennis boatman Posted June 4, 2015 Author Posted June 4, 2015 The Clavey is not the best fishing river. That said it does have one of the purest native coastal trout populations. Though mostly small, they are a beautiful fish and very challenging to catch. It is always an adventure, and hardly anyone goes there. It is a gem. A strike indicator is just a bobber...
dennis boatman Posted June 19, 2015 Author Posted June 19, 2015 My favorites... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
Ham Posted June 19, 2015 Posted June 19, 2015 That would be an awesome fishing trip. Workking a couple of miles of river. Dialing in on fish location and fly presentation. Beautiful scenery. The fish don't have to always to be huge for it to be a Great trip. There are a lot of negatives ti living in Cali, but none are visible in those photographs. dennis boatman Posted July 6, 2015 Author Posted July 6, 2015 If the fishing is slow...there is always gold... A strike indicator is just a bobber...
dennis boatman Posted July 9, 2015 Author Posted July 9, 2015 Caught at Leavitt Lake, about 9,500' elevation. They were not shy. And it was cold and actually a little snow fell...It's July in California. A strike indicator is just a bobber...
