Quillback Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Looks like we're headed for 917, if it stays there for a while, it should be good for fry survival. Squirrel Fishin', Champ188, Hunter53 and 2 others 5
Champ188 Posted May 11, 2015 Posted May 11, 2015 Dave, we fished Sunday from Old 86 over to Jake's Branch. Hardly anything floating. Come on down and enjoy your trip. Hunter53 1

Members flyrod17 Posted May 11, 2015 Members Posted May 11, 2015 Sound advice for the entire lake after rains and a rise. Takes less than you might think to get some big stuff moving around, especially if there is wind or wakes to get things loosened up. Pepe...if you popped it with your motor, it sure would not hurt to drain and change your lower lube, look for anything odd (as in metal pieces). Especially water, it is almost always the first indicator, water in the lower unit lube...... Good luck, I hit a huge tree in Texoma many moons ago, messed up the lower unit and the transom.......put me out of commision for some time.........again good luck!!! "I'm Haunted by Water"
Muddy Water Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I see lots of debris coming down the Kings today, big stuff!
Dylan Cluver Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Saw a big Tree out in the main lake by Indian point. That was really the only debris we saw today. Big enough to ruin your day, but visible enough to stay away. No one gripes about obese fish.
Hunter53 Posted May 12, 2015 Author Posted May 12, 2015 Thanks for the reports guys!! Keep em coming.
Guest Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 Long creek was cranking today too. Total rainfall map Look at the red areas 6-8" & 10" pink area.
Duck Posted May 12, 2015 Posted May 12, 2015 I drove over to Sweetwater today and through Arrow Point, what views I could see of the river was nothing but debris and MUDDY water. It may be the worst I've seen in a long time. No way to safely navigate up there. Duck.
