I say you're gonna have a disappointed grandkid. What date did you have in mind again?

there's always something to catch or at least she likes to "drive" the Retirement Rig.......

I will drive right by the OKC one, and not far from the Tulsa/Broken Arrow BPS. it looks like mushroom head and senko like tail? specific brands better than others? specific colors better than others? I understand you make the best heads around dtrs5kprs, have any sitting around?

You want either the Zman ZinkerZ or the Strike King Zero, cut neatly in half. PBJ and green pumpkin are as good as anything else, day after day. Regular plastic sticks are absolutely not the same thing.

Shoot me a PM about heads. Not sure we can get them to you before you leave, but have made stranger things work out.

You can't go wrong with crickets and crawlers but for yourself the topwater should be rocking and rolling while your here. Throw a spook and believe. Ned it up when that bites done.

I did see some Ned paraphernalia at Springfield bps this weekend but not the good heads like dtrs makes. They had the TRD "worms" though.

With any luck the water will be in the bushes this weekend and it could be really really good. I assume you all have been getting good rain down there this weekend right?

sorry guys yes this coming Friday MAY 15, thru 23 May....

are the gills bedding?

As far as the gills, I don't know if they are bedding quite yet, but they are up shallow. You should be able to get the young'un on some gills throwing a red worm or cricket about 2-3 feet below a cork on any quiet cove bank that has sun.

I just left this message on another post, but if you are still looking for Ned rig stuff, check out Ozarks Extreme Outdoors just south of Silver Dollar City. I know Eric just got in a new order last week. You might want to give him a call before heading that way to make sure, but I know he ordered a bunch after selling out so fast the last time.

I would highly recommend Dave's (dtrs5kprs) heads, but knowing that he is a few days out might not give you time to get those before your trip. Best of luck! Let us know how you do with the little guy.

Thanks everyone, I will be posting pictures of what I catch, hoping it's not just an empty livewell....

If anyone sees a big fat guy in the boat below on the water, say hello. I'll probably be sunburned after about Monday.

Nice rig indeed, but no Power Poles? Hate to say it but you're gonna stick out like a sore thumb without them on Table Rock. Coz they are EXTREMELY vital when your boat is sitting in 20-50 feet of water all day. :XD:

Seriously, hope you have a great trip. Keep that Ned wet and you'll catch a lot of fish.

Flyrod - if you see a dark gray Z9 w/Ozark Anglers sticker on the driver side (but no PP's) holler at me - I have some of Dave's rigs that I would gladly give you so that you and yours have a good time catching - it is great to get the kids out like that.

I will be launching out of State Park also -
