I sure would ask what you thought it was worth. It's better than most boats and it has extras.

Yep. You can always meet someone in the middle. You will miss it when it is windy though.

Pretty colors. My first Ranger had a touch of a berry color to it. That was your boat's grandbaby, the 462.

Miss it when its windy...AMEN i got used to my dads glass boat and then i finally got me a tracker 175txw, Fishes great with one person but definitly gets blown around a little. I got a motorguide XI5 and now the wind is my friend. I have fished from a tracker 190 and it definitely is a way more stable nicer boat. Wish i would have held out and got the 190. My 60 hp 4 stroke is great though. Can drive forever without worrying about gas...literally forever

I had aluminum before the ranger and miss it badly. Here's the deal if I fish Tablerock or grand lake I'm always in my buddy's boats. I use my boat for taneycomo mainly plus a watershed here by my house. The watershed doesn't have a ramp and it's really hard to get my boat out. I also don't like pulling my heavy boat down to taneycomo very badly. That tin pulls so much nicer and it drafts shallower Soni could get it in the trophy area alot easier. If I'm on any kind of bigger lake at all its always in someone else's boat. The 175txw mentioned above is almost exactly what I'm looking for. Simple to pull, easy on gas, easy to pull in and out of the watershed and shallow draft. Just my personal needs and wants

Last but not least I've reached a point in my life where I could care less about running fast. I hardly ever run Ranger over 40 mph anyway anymore. Just sucks gas and is harder on the equipment. Give me an aluminum boat, a 60 HP motor and a handful of road runners and Ned rigs and trout magnets and just about as happy as a guy could be :)

i hear ya man, i do love my little boat. My little Nissan Frontier pulls it great. Mine is an 08 which i really like, i dont like the layout of the newer ones. I have a locker for 7'6" rods, the newer ones don't have that. The 46lb thrust troller just wasn't enough either. i love my GPS troller just hit a button and it holds you still, it is awesome on taney. And it actually rides great in rough water due to the big V. It will get ya a little wet but as far as aluminum goes it is pretty smooth
