Had a rough night

Talked to the guy who won it last night. There was only one limit weighted in. A 3 fish bag took 2nd. Wow who would of thought.

I've heard the river has been tough. Clear water bite is a bit more stable.

Im not very familiar with the shell knob or white river side. Im going spend more time on that side of the lake. but my biggest to date did come from that side.

We fished out of cape yesterday for Ketchups tin boat bass tourny and everyone said it was tough. Lots of short fish and just a handful of keepers. I only

Caught 2 and my buddy caught a keeper walleye. So that was a bonus. I did catch two 14 inchers on one crank at the same time. It was fun even though it rained like crazy on us

We fished a small tourney out of joe bald yesterday. Fun day on the water with my dad. We had 50 fish total with 16 keepers, best fish was a brownie at 19 inches little over 3lbs. Best 5 for us just over 12lbs. Had a great bite going on thundersticks at point 8 until the rain started then topwater bite was over for us. Had limit by 7am on the topwater and I would say we only had maybe 3 shorts on the topwater, majority were keepers. Rest of the day few fish here and there on a grub and the old trusty Ned accounted for lots of fish and 4 keeps including that smallie

hard to beat a good ol walleye. Was that tourny only for aluminum boats?

Sounds like you guys flat caughtem. I need to do a better job at bein commitmented to the ned. especially when fishing is slow.

Remember one thing Cody, KVD (as great sas he is) has never won a derby on the Rock. I have fished the Rock for over 40 years and still get humbled many times. I am retired, so I fish mainly during the week and at prime times. The moral of the story is NOBODY catches them every trip.
