Coosa Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 Thanks for the info guys. Blauvelt3 is my brother and this is a topic we have discussed many times.
Amery Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 My fav creek is springfed and I believe the fish are more active after the sun warms the water a little.
joeD Posted June 1, 2015 Posted June 1, 2015 The longer you are on the water, the better chance you'll catch fish. Which is a statistical fact, not a morning noon or night "fish will hit at this time" fact. That's the great thing about smallies. Time of day isn't relevant. You just have to be on the water. PS: Statistics and odds are why Las Vegas exists. Over the long term, they win. Apply to fishing: the more you fish, the longer you fish, the more successful you will be. Brian Jones 1

Yeah maybe, but knowing where to be and when to be there will save you a shitton of unproductive casts. Only Rookies wear their arms out for no reason. Flysmallie 1

joeD Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 It's called "youth" wrench. Remember? I do. F***. I was thin and good looking and single. Now. I'm here.

fishinwrench Posted June 2, 2015 Posted June 2, 2015 Yeah I remember. Nowadays I look at a stretch and think....do I really wanna go through all that extra labor just to catch a few extra fish that are probably gonna be dinks? Nah I'll just hit the sweet spots. Laziness rules!
