dtrs5kprs Posted June 27, 2015 Posted June 27, 2015 The only hangup I have with bigger worms is they are hard to shoot into tight spots because the tail invariably catches on something, and they don't "skip" very good. The biggest worm I throw is a 10" and I always bite 1/4" off of it. Yep, they will wrap up for sure. Back in the big worm heyday at Truman and Smithville it drove me nuts trying to get them down into cedars and big hardwoods. Seemed like there was invariably a single little stick that would catch the tail.
evilcatfish Posted June 29, 2015 Posted June 29, 2015 I'm no expert but love Mann's Jelly Worms and the Zoom Ol Monster. Also, been fishing the Upton Customs 13" straight tail the past couple seasons with good success. Nice and soft and they actually smell really good lol Quillback 1
