Mofloatjunkie Posted July 5, 2015 Posted July 5, 2015 Wanted to share with you guys one of the most enjoyable moments of my life. I was fishing my local river with my four year old a few days ago. I was casting a jig when I felt a big hit. I immediately handed the pole to Riley and told him fish on!! He started cranking and the fish took off. I had the drag set very loose and the reel started squealing. He looked at me very concerned and said ' I'm breaking it!' I said it's fine buddy just keep reeling!! After a respectable fight he landed his first smallmouth. He couldn't believe he had caught that fish. The smile on his face was priceless. Reminded me what fishing was all about. Not a bad fish for a four year old. Ham, BilletHead, MOsmallies and 5 others 8
