Pat Magee Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 They are there but I think they may be only available in certain frames. You can select it from the menu on the side of the "shop costas" page.
5bites Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 580p's are plastic and are what both my pairs are.
trythisonemv Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Definitely agree on the Amber. Not a fan of super expensive glasses as I tend to brake or lose them. Polarized aviators Panama Jack work well for me even in the shade. In Sun I use my bass fishing mirrors also cheap and polarized.
Smalliebigs Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Thanks guys. Looks like amber it is. Ive read a few reviews where others say the glass lens can be uncomfortable after a few hours. Is that the case? If so im not seeing Costas in a plastic lens. Costas have 5 size frames for big heads and small.....any glasses will hurt behind your ear after all day wearing.
cnr Posted August 5, 2015 Posted August 5, 2015 Amber, hands down the best for varying light conditions.
Ketchup Posted August 5, 2015 Author Posted August 5, 2015 Thanks for the offer 5bites. Im sure we will cross paths again, especially if ya invite me to Grand for the day. ? I seen the plastic lens. I looked at the Wiley X. They are in my price range and good review. Bass Pro carries them, along with the Costas and i will be there tomorrow for club meeting so will make my decision. Thanks for the input on lens color especially. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
5bites Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 I'm down for a grand trip. Be ready for the out of state sticker shock on the license! Lol. But yea absolutely we can make a trip to grand. If it wasn't for taking my boys to do some dropshotting around the bridges at Stockton Saturday I'd be there this weekend. They are bent on going to Stockton though. It also worked out to where I'm meeting a gentleman up there that has lots of questions about side imaging and gps before he buys his first unit. So I'm going to give him a boat ride and try to answer his questions hopefully.
Ketchup Posted August 6, 2015 Author Posted August 6, 2015 Good of ya to show the gent a few live sessions before he takes the plunge. Enjoy your Stockton trip. I think we may head to Beaver to try our luck. TinBoats BassClub. An aluminum only bass club. If interested in info send me a PM.
5bites Posted August 6, 2015 Posted August 6, 2015 It'll be good if I can be a good teacher. He may take up golf before I'm done though.
