   Yes read it on the internet got to be fact!

Either fact or fiction all it takes is a small board that may or may not save a high dollar battery. I choose a small piece of wood.

What good is a battery sitting on the floor?   Put it in the dang boat where it belongs before you stub your toe on it!

My boat is in storage, as I'm storing it, I take the batteries out and bring them home so I can charge them up for the next trip.

Lemme guess, you live in a gated community that doesn't allow boats in the yard/driveway?

Very close, no gates, but my boat was in my driveway being worked on for a couple of days, and the director of the subdivision committee called and kindly informed me that he had received "several" calls about my boat in the driveway. Go figure
