Got ahead of myself Yesterday, sorry.......we fished today from 0630-1100, then 5p-7p. Learned not to throw the ned close to the bank. The bluegills wouldn't leave it alone. Felt sorry for them when they got air mailed across the boat. A little anxious and was doin a "Roland Martin" hook set on the little fellas.  Ended up with one keeper and five shorts (bass). Most came from the ned. Keeper was on a spinnerbait when the wind picked up this afternoon. Gravel banks and the boat was 22-25' fish were about 10-14. I am convinced common sense is not needed when buyimg/driving a boat. It's their lake also but holy cow.....still glad to be here. Stay safe. We stayed in the Indian Point area.

Isn't it amazing some of the complete absence of brain activity you see out there? Especially on holiday weekends. Boggles the mind.

Glad you guys managed to catch a few in the midst of that circus.

Amen brother. We fished from sun up to 1030 on 9-7. We got skunked, nothimg. Left for home around noon. Our six hr drive was 7 due to the traffic. Big slow down just south of Springfield, on 44 where you turn on 13 north, Clinton, Harrisonville. Oh well, lesson learned both on the water and the drive home. We agreed to avoid a holiday if at all possible in the future. Weill be back in week and can't wait. Take care.

Was on TR this weekend. I witnessed complete chaos once again. Been fishing TR for 40 years and it's out of control. A friend who lives in Schooner told me it was disgraceful what is happening on that part of the lake. Still confused why people feel the need to own a 40' ocean going cruiser with the little radar thingy going around in circles on top of the captains deck. My wife and I were sitting on the dock Sunday afternoon and we watched a tuna rig pulling three on a tube cut in front of another boat coming from behind. If the oncoming boat hadn't slowed, he would have ran right over the top of the tubers.  The good news is that the weather is changing and the chaos will subside and let the fisherman and dock owners have some peace.

We were out Sunday also.  Dam area.

I've been going to TR for 30 plus years and I've never seen that much boat traffic before either.

Not just numbers of boats but size.

They brought in somebody to Rock Lane resort Sunday followed by 3 state trooper boats.

I don't know what happened but it dew a huge crowd when they were brought in on the front deck of a pontoon.

Pete, we watched that from our condo. I was wondering what it was all about.

This was in the Branson Tri-Lakes News ...

A woman was hospitalized with serious injuries following a collision between two personal watercrafts on Table Rock Lake Sunday.

According to a report from the Missouri State Highway Patrol, Sarah A. Obermeier, 28, of Kansas City, was airlifted to Mercy Hospital in Springfield as a result of her injuries.

The report states that Obermeier was driving a 1994 Yamaha Waverunner west of Point 1 on Table Rock Lake at about 1:20 p.m. when she was struck from behind by another 1994 Wave Runner as she was slowing to stop. The driver of the other vehicle, Nicholas W. Obermeier, 27, also of Kansas City, was not listed as injured in the report.

According to the report, both drivers were wearing life jackets.

Thanks champ. Michelle and i are headed back down next Monday through the following Monday. Hope the lake is a little calmer. I am afraid we are going to shopping for "stuff" to put her touch on the condo. I will at least treat myself to a new lews tournament spinning reel and new Denali to go with it!!! Thats my kind of decorating. I may end up putting a third Pro Guide in for good measure.
