Lovely day today and I was able to go out around 1030. Decided to Ned fish for fun. I rigged a bait on one of Dave's heads and used Gorilla brand gel super glue. Unexpectedly the glue melted the plastic rather than hold it. Finally had to switch to a Zman Shroomz head.  Not nearly as hang free as Dave's heads. Caught green perch and small bass, but nothing worth a picture. Water temp 79 to 80.

I haven't tried the gorilla brand.........but, I've actually tried several different brands and style of glues; the Loctite brand gel in the blue/grey bottle is the only one to not have an adverse reaction with the Elaztec plastics; at some point or another. At least or me:-(

Hmmm... it took ~15 seconds to find;

"Gorilla Super Glue Gel is an easy-to-use, thicker and more controlled formula great for multiple surfaces and vertical applications. Specially formulated to absorb drops, impacts and shocks, this tough and precise gel bonds plastic*, wood, metal, ceramic, rubber, leather, paper and more! In addition to its high performance formula, we’ve added an anti-clog cap with a metal pin inside to ensure an airtight seal for maximum reusability. It’s Gorilla tough, every time. *Not recommended for use on polyethylene or polypropylene plastic "

I can't dance like I used to.

Well I surely demonstrated that point today.
