abkeenan Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 I have also used the YUM PumpkinEd standup jig and I've had pretty good success using it. I use them with larger size worms (9"+) inches since the hooks are 5/0 and 6/0 depending on the weight size.
Champ188 Posted September 23, 2015 Posted September 23, 2015 You can actually buy the same size Pumpkin Ed head with three different sizes of hooks. For instance, the 1/4-ounce head is available with 3I re/0, 5/0 or 6/0 hooks. The 5/16 and 3/8 are both offered with 4/0, 5/0 or 6/0 hooks. I've had great luck using that head for hula grubs. abkeenan, Ranger Z22 and crazy4fishin 3
Dutch Posted September 26, 2015 Posted September 26, 2015 Are you experimenting with head design or worm keeper? Both head and holder. I did not much care for what I made up and used on Friday. So I am not experimenting with screw locks and maybe a stand up head, but first I have to order another 1000 hooks as I am really running low. Only time will tell.
