jolicious Posted October 13, 2015 Author Posted October 13, 2015 Should be a good tournament. Might fish it myself this year. If you and / or Miss Donna notice an orange Legend close to you during that weekend, it'll just be lil ol' me.... I'll be, uh, keeping an eye on you for safety's sake of course wouldn't dream of trying to see what you'll be throwing.... It's always good to do the buddy-boat system on the water, right??? crazy4fishin, magicwormman and Champ188 3
Champ188 Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 Joe, I can pretty well tell you right now that the old knucklehead on the trolling motor will be flinging a Luck E Strike RC STX jerk bait and the wise woman on the back will be dragging a jig. The only thing that might change is if the water temp breaks 50, a Rock Crawler or slow-rolled half-ounce War Eagle spinnerbait might come into play. If you see us, come say hi. I'll do likewise. That goes for anytime. techo, jolicious and big c 3
Sore Thumbs Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Jerkbait and crankbait will reign supreme no doubt. Sounds like fun. Hope I get to fish it this year. Always have BFL conflicts,
jolicious Posted October 14, 2015 Author Posted October 14, 2015 And three weeks later our employee tourney is out of Schooner Creek as well.... hoping to get a bead on them for that mainly!
Moswimb8slinger Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 I'll be throwing the swimbaits and glides. No use in messing with small fish during a tournament like that. Hopefully I hook into another pig like the 8.5lbs LM i got in March. jolicious, Bassmod and magicwormman 3
Alex Heitman Posted October 15, 2015 Posted October 15, 2015 Alex might be tied up that weekend ... just sayin. Haha that's funny Champ. I've been blessed to catch some nice fish this year and be in the right area at the right time. I never luck out as much on tournament day so so you guys have nothing to worry about. magicwormman 1
crazy4fishin Posted October 16, 2015 Posted October 16, 2015 I saw on the website this afternoon that Oakley Big Bass is scheduled for April 2nd and 3rd next year - about 5 weeks earlier than usual. What does everyone think that will do to weights? Personally I know my weight will be up; coming off a potentially long El Nino winter along with my wife getting into baking pastries and then having it that early I am sure I will be bundled up in my miss matched bibs and coat layered underneath with both my jerseys - - so I am guessing I will be up 20+ lbs.....if you were referring to the fish I have no clue jolicious 1 Crazy4fishinA Cornhusker

The jersey goes over the TOP of everything, including your bibs and coat! And yes, that includes if it is raining. LOL Quillback, jolicious and crazy4fishin 3
