Gavin Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 Great story! You will be telling it for years! Bet you won't remember the fish;)
Mark Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Too funny!! I'm guessing the statutory rape laws in some parts of the Ozarks are more of a suggestion.
Flysmallie Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Too funny!! I'm guessing the statutory rape laws in some parts of the Ozarks are more of a suggestion. True but I bet there is more of that going on in the big cities. Just funny that most people think of hillbilly's when they think of something like that but I see a lot of it going on just making it through the hood on my way to work every day. Brian Jones 1

Members Ginnever Posted October 27, 2015 Members Posted October 27, 2015 I'm a "transplanted" local here..... and I will warn you we never use Patrick for anything more than we have to........ it is a shame. With that said, I am still surprised (somewhat) by what you experienced. I hope it doesn't sour you from continuing to enjoy the North Fork!
awhuber Posted October 27, 2015 Posted October 27, 2015 @fishinwrench Gold. Absolute Gold. I just posted another TR on the Current. Ah . Now I see, You are a fiction writer. They are fun to read. Thanks.
Members burton1995 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Members Posted October 27, 2015 @awhuber Not a word of fiction. It's all about what you're looking for when you go on a trip. I will take it as a compliment, but it's really a compliment to the area's inhabitants. It's why we keep coming back. @Ginnever North Fork of the White is my favorite fishery. It reminds me of the rivers out west
Members burton1995 Posted October 27, 2015 Author Members Posted October 27, 2015 @awhuber except for the name on the kids shirt. I don't remember what it said. It was a black collared shirt, with a name on it though. Drove a Japanese pickup
