fishinwrench Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 In that case.....half green pumpkin/blk flake and the other half clear/black flake sounds really good. Mitch f 1
fishinwrench Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 Make some Peach/silver flake and call it Stripper Dust. :) Mitch f 1
Old plug Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 MITCH---- I am curious this making of lures and especially plastic, how does that play out domestically. I used to do some of that a long time ago and it was a struggle. Especially the plastics. If it's tuff hang on. It will get better in about 50 yrs. or so.
Old plug Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 wrench--- I am more interested in this worm hardness stuff. Can it be taken internally ???
fishinwrench Posted October 31, 2015 Posted October 31, 2015 If you get some Stripper Dust on your worm it'll be plenty hard. Old plug 1

Ventilation is the issue, you either need to do it outside, or make an airtight booth inside with a 6-8" vent fan going outside "Honor is a man's gift to himself" Rob Roy McGregor

LarrySTL Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 OK, I'll get in on this too. Although I don't know if this color would make any sense on a senko, I loved it for a full size tube and in standard worms. BPS used to have it in their house brand tubes and it was called All American or something like that. Start with a "color" that is clear with the tiniest hint of either smoke or white to it, one that you have to stare at for a moment to decide whether it is literally clear. Add liberal amounts of small size flake in fire engine red, a fairly bright blue, and white. In clear water it was both amazingly easy to see, and attractive to the fish. Larew copy catted it into his 6" and 8" worms and those were very good in clear water too, but after his death the OK folks discontinued that color and I havent seen it in BPS's color charts for many years. http://intervenehere.com
moguy1973 Posted November 3, 2015 Posted November 3, 2015 There needs to be a Senko colored like BPSs puke colored tubes. It's kind of a yellowish green pumpkin with a little green flake in it. That color flat out catches fish, or at least in streams it does. Ham 1 -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson
