Gavin Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 Would not call that a feature ingredient, but makes a good color contrast. Can sub it for anything that requires beans but hardly ever use them by themselves unless I want a dark colored base to contrast with other ingredients. Just beans.....most taste like beans. Any bean recipe will do...the rest is cosmetic.
snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 With all due respect. I never thought black bean and great would be in the same sentence. ness and Gavin 2
moguy1973 Posted December 1, 2015 Posted December 1, 2015 We enjoy this one. Has a black bean, red pepper, and pineapple salsa. http://allrecipes.com/recipe/40219/jamaican-jerk-pork-chops-with-island-salsa/ -- JimIf people concentrated on the really important things in life, there'd be a shortage of fishing poles. -- Doug Larson

Flysmallie Posted December 2, 2015 Posted December 2, 2015 Seems like a lot of racism in the bean world.
