this spring with the high water there was alot of flooded fields. i was wondering what the water level was at when the field that is to the north of the creek where the creek runs north and then turns east . this is the first major bend of the creek.Last spring the whites and crappie were in the flooded brush. I'm thinking for ducks now.

I'm not a pro at google earth, but is it possible to look at a google earth map of that area and get a surface level reading (feet above sea level) and then match that to lake level.

I don't think Google Earth is real time.

It wouldn't need to be. IF he can get a sea level measurement of that area where the brush was flooded, AND he can get a current lake level then he can know when water will be in the bushes without having to drive and look. Right?

I have a hand held GPS that will tell me elevation, but you would have to make a trip there to check it out.

I Put in at Beaver Creek today i assume that is the creek you are referring to. I didnt run up it but from past experience (If im thinking of the field you are thinking of) i doubt it is under water, if i recall there is a fairly tall bank there. The water is definitely high, im guessing 6-8 feet judging by the courtesy dock being underwater. Last spring when i was down there before the big flood it wasnt quite as high as it is now hope this helps a little

as you head up going north it is a bluff bank on your left, west. But then the river turns east and what is on your left, north is a big field.  Did you see birds up in Beaver today and was there any shooting going on?

I didnt actually go up Beaver Creek i headed down lake towards K dock, i did troll around Beaver Boat dock for a while and i did hear several shots. I was wondering what people were shooting that early, now it makes sense. I saw a lot of geese in some fields but no ducks
