Quillback Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Never have used one, reviews are good for the most part, main complaint seems to be that it is a bit larger and heavier than most low profile reels in it's price range. But $89.95 (plus shipping) sure looks like a good deal. http://www.americanlegacyfishing.com/daiwa-tatula-100h-casting-reels.html?utm_source=Mobile+Newsletter+12%2F26%2F15&utm_campaign=12%2F26%2F15&utm_medium=email Ham 1

snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I just ordered a new Ned stick. 7' St Croix ML Eyecon per Ham's recommendation. And..........I'm going Nano on this one. I used gift cards I got yesterday under the tree. Pete
drew03cmc Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 Pete, I went Powell Inferno 7' ML. it should be here Wednesday from TW. Gonna use PP 15/4 with leader on it. Andy

Pete, I have a 6 foot 6 inch. I hope you got the right rod coming Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I know. I mostly fish out of my pond prowler and I like a little longer rod. I'm sitting and I'm sitting close to the water. Thanks though. I'm going to give the nano a good run this time. Pete
Ham Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I am completely confounded that some people find Nanofil difficult to work with. Shocked. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
snagged in outlet 3 Posted December 26, 2015 Posted December 26, 2015 I love braid for jig and pig fishing. You can't "not" feel a bite with that stuff. I want the same thing from the Nano with a Ned. All bass, beware!! Pete

Man if I could tie a Crazy Alberto in 30 seconds like you can, I'd probably fish more braid/leader stuff. Takes me 5 minutes indoors at the table. I know, practice-practice. grizwilson, Ham and dtrs5kprs 3
