zarraspook Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Standard CORPS hang-tags are going from $30 to $40 .... But there are other passes for 62+ & disabled .... https://store.usgs.gov/pass/index.html "Look up OPTIMIST in the dictionary - there is a picture of a fishing boat being launched"
Champ188 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Lovely. We get to pay $10 more per year for less places to use. Don't know about Beaver, but access points are dwindling on Table Rock. Ham 1
Jerry Rapp Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 whose money paid for the lakes in the first place? User's fees were just the beginning of taking more and more from those of us who can pay it. Have you read any news stories about bill hillbilly not buying a user fee and being arrested by a corps employee or the local barney fife for non compliance?
JohnF52 Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 A pass is not needed for places that don't have a park, like 12 Bridge, Ventris, Monte-Ne, 412 Access, Big Clifty......etc
1969Larson Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Well the operator is over $18 Trillion (that's $18,000,000,000,000.00) in DEBT and getting worse by the second.
Guest Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 $30-$40 covers launching for the year? (for me) My dads 69 & disabled. Does this only apply to beaver or all Corps lakes? Either way, I'm tired of stuffing cash in wet envelopes.
