Ham Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 I want some breathable and layer under that. The OP and I talked about this already. I'm a Cabelas guy. Be patient and catch a sale on the GuideWear stuff. It lasts for years and Cabela's really stands behind their product should you somehow have a problem with it. Jim Elam Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Don't make the mistake of buying Clam outdoors insulated stuff. Its warm but the sleeves get damp in heavy rain. Definitely not completely waterproof. Jim "The obsessions of others are opaque to the unobsessed, and thus easy to mock...If we are lucky we all have at least one."
Members BiteMeBaits Posted January 18, 2016 Members Posted January 18, 2016 I have been the worst about wearing carhartts in the past but scared me to death. I found a set of 100mph bibs floating this spring. Once I made sure nobody was in there I shook then out and took them home and look forward to trying them out. I usually like my frogtoggs for the rain.
