Fish24/7 Posted January 18, 2016 Posted January 18, 2016 I'm anxious, winter is just getting started, better keep your fingers crossed for the next 6-8 weeks so things happen they way you want them to. I would like to see a nice snowfall before springtime.

Ham Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 I did not hear how long they plan on keeping the Floodgates open. Does anyone have any information about that they can share? I wondder what number they want to get down to before they will close the gates. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
Quillback Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 This is from one of their press releases, just wish I knew what a "prolonged period of time" means. On Jan. 17, four more gates will be opened one-foot to increase the spillway releases to 7,000 c.f.s. The spillway and turbine release will equal 30,000 c.f.s. and continue for a prolonged period of time unless significant rainfall occurs downstream of the dam.
Ham Posted January 20, 2016 Author Posted January 20, 2016 Thanks Jeff. I remembered a version of that verbage, but it is very offically and purposely vague. Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish
