 I'm anxious,winter is just getting started, better keep your fingers crossed for the next 6-8 weeks so things happen they way you want them to.

I would like to see a nice snowfall before springtime.

i just couldn't help myself after watching it snow for 30 minutes yesterday, what a disappointment

I did not hear how long they plan on keeping the Floodgates open. Does anyone have any information about that they can share?

I wondder what number they want to get down to before they will close the gates.

This is from one of their press releases, just wish I knew what a "prolonged period of time" means.

On Jan. 17, four more gates will be opened one-foot to increase the spillway releases to 7,000 c.f.s.  The spillway and turbine release will equal 30,000 c.f.s. and continue for a prolonged period of time unless significant rainfall occurs downstream of the dam.

We were told not to expect Bull Shoals to be back to normal level by sometime in April at the earliest.
