Ham Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 I'm going to drag my boat up to Taney in the morning and fish with Billethead and our buddy Richard. I am going to be strictly catch and release fishing. Do I need any additional license above my Missouri Annual Out of State Fishing License? I always want to fish legal. Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted January 31, 2016 Root Admin Posted January 31, 2016 You need a trout stamp. And you have to fish barbless hooks.
Ham Posted February 1, 2016 Author Posted February 1, 2016 I usually fish barbless. Barbless is required above where? Do you sell the trout stamps at your place Phil? Every Saint has a past, every Sinner has a future. On Instagram @hamneedstofish

Root Admin Phil Lilley Posted February 3, 2016 Root Admin Posted February 3, 2016 You missed my other post... I was joshing him. There's no barbless rule anywhere in Missouri. Ham 1

I did miss that then. I actually wouldn't hate to see a barbless reg up in the trophy area. It's amazing how many of the fish that hang out up there have mouths that are just torn up. Then again, if they would enforce that I would think I would at least see agents up there time to time. I can't tell you how many times I've seen people walking around with stringers of slot fish that they can't keep.
