Does anyone know any conceivable way to buy one of these if you live in the US? The pike version looks good too. As does Tommy the Trout http://www.fishing-mart.com.pl/sklep/en/westin-tommy-the-trout-hybrid-g5-a20-p2578-k17461.html
snagged in outlet 3 Posted February 11, 2016 Posted February 11, 2016 It has a link for international freight rates. Maybe pay with CC.
motoman Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I'm thinking those might just be mass produced swimbaits sold to multiple companies to label them as their own? - Reason I say that is they look VERY familiar to me; like they have been around for years; under different brand names. - Swimbaits can be very fickle; be cautious of baits that might look great; because getting them to float/sink and/or swim properly can be a tricky proposition. Try and read some good reviews on swimbaits before spending too much. Richy is a swimbait ace on the boards here; and should be along shortly. He can really offer some great advice on affordable swimbaits that work great on Table Rock. Sadly, I have not had such success with them, as I have the attention span of a 5th grader.:-P..........and my memory is not so slick as to recall his recommendations from prior posts either. - There are a lot of good looking; affordable swimbaits on eBay if you take a look. Plenty of cheap, U.S. Shipping too. Possibly the ones like in your link can be found there too?
dtrs5kprs Posted February 12, 2016 Posted February 12, 2016 I'll wait for Jim the Fish. Spoilers... abkeenan 1
Fly_Guy Posted February 12, 2016 Author Posted February 12, 2016 Ah - didn't see the link for international shipping. Still pretty high... I've seen video of them and they swim pretty well (or so it seems), but to moto's point, I've got a super cheap shiner swimbait for about 3$ from ebay china that has really nice action too...
Moswimb8slinger Posted February 13, 2016 Posted February 13, 2016 Never heard of them, but the trouts look very close to the Castaic HardHead trouts easily available on Tacklewarehouse.com. but beware, the bodies are poorly attached to the head, i had one come apart on the first cast, right out of the package.

Moswimb8slinger Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 That was 8 years ago, when I lived in California. I bought it from the Diamond Valley Lake bait shop, went down to the lake, threw it once and the soft plastic body came off. I promptly returned to the shop and got a refund.lol
Moswimb8slinger Posted February 15, 2016 Posted February 15, 2016 If your wanting a good rainbow trout swimbait that won't break the bank, look at either the Spro BBZ1 6 ($20) or 8 inch ($35), or the Savage Gear 3d line-thru trouts 6 ($13) or 8 ($20).
