Members yellowgtman Posted February 15, 2016 Members Posted February 15, 2016 From Blue Eye, take 86 to 65 south to 14 at Omaha and across to Lead Hill but i'd stop at tucker hollow instead. It's closer and fishes just as good and will get you further up the lake away from the traffic. Take you about an hour to get there from Blue Eye.

Nitroman Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I will strongly 2ND. the TUCKER HOLLOW AREA, plenty of area with different stuff to fish & away from the traffic is an understatement. I don't think I have seen more than 4 boats in a day while fishing that area. And best of all, " NEVER A JET SKI, NOT ONCE " !!!!!!! Butt please let's try to keep this our little secret. oodlesiggy 1 Rock View Resort Table Rock Lake Greg Pope, Owner/Operator & Fishing Guide

Sounds good to me to fish and not have waves coming over my bow from other boa Ok mum's the word! I hope they put in the loading dock! I like loading docks when I put my boat in and sometimes I will go by myself and the loading dock makes it easy!
Nitroman Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 Tucker Hollow does not have a courtesy dock but there is a small marina next to the ramp. If you go in & check with the folks in the marina they will normally let you pull into a open boat-slip or on the outside of the dock while you are launching & or pulling your boat. But, make sure you check with them 1ST. !!!!!!! It's a little walk back to your tow vehicle ( UNLESS YOU TAKE A SHORT CUT OVER SOME ROCKY TERRAIN ) but much better than pulling your boat up onto the rocks & / or ramp. eyedabassman Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Someone posted that a loading dock was to go in soon at Tucker Hallow? I hope
Bill Babler Posted February 16, 2016 Posted February 16, 2016 I can't ever remember a loading dock at Tucker. That ramp is extremely wide. If you have either a metal boat or a keel guard it is not problem at all. Just ease up on the ramp. Don't try to pull to the shore on either side however as there is heavy riprap holding the ramp area. If you do go over to the marina, buy something if they are open. Can of pop couple of candy bars or something. It not only promotes good will toward you, but also others. Good Luck Dewayne French 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
eyedabassman Posted February 16, 2016 Author Posted February 16, 2016 Thanks for the advice Bill. But I have a Triton ( Fiberglass boat ) that is why I like loading docks.

I hope Yes, we (AGFC) are going to be installing a courtesy dock at the Tucker Hollow Ramp. Once the water level gets lower, we will be installing a slide for the courtesy dock so it wont be sitting on the ramp. We had planned on already having this project done but the high water slowed it down. The dock should be installed within the next couple of months. yellowgtman and Dewayne French 2 Jeremy Risley District Fisheries Supervisor AGFC Mountain Home Office - 1-877-425-7577 Email: Jeremy.Risley@agfc.ar.gov
